The Family Table: Where Food & Parenting Meet
Parent Coaching
I'm Dr. Reshma Shah — a pediatrician, parent coach, and mom. I work with families who feel stuck when it comes to feeding, parenting, and their kids' health issues. I offer personalized, evidence-based coaching to help you parent with more clarity, confidence, and calm.
You may not have the village you hoped for — but you don’t have to do this alone.
Parenting Is Personal, and So Is My Approach
Your Family, Your Way:
Evidence-based coaching that builds on
your natural parenting strengths
If you're here, chances are something feels hard right now — maybe you're navigating a new diagnosis for your child, dreading another stressful dinner, or carrying the quiet weight of second-guessing yourself as a parent.
You're not alone.
I work with parents who care deeply but feel stuck — especially when it comes to feeding struggles, nutrition concerns, or day-to-day parenting decisions. You know your child best. I'm here to offer a thoughtful partnership — grounded in science and shaped by compassion — so you can feel more confident and connected as you parent and feed your child.
My Parent Coaching Framework:
The Family Table
It's where we eat, do homework, celebrate birthdays, and maybe try paper mache for the first time. A family table tells you so much about family life.
Most families spend just 17 minutes at the dinner table. In our busy lives, those few minutes can hold both the best and most challenging moments of the day.
I think of the table as a window into how a family works together. Whether they're dealing with picky eating, a new diagnosis, or behavior challenges, what happens at, around, and beyond the table reveals not only the challenges but the possible solutions.
My Family Table Approach offers personalized support across three connected layers:
-

Plant-Forward Diets

My Family Table Approach isn’t a one-size-fits-all solution. It’s a flexible, evidence-based framework to help you create a way of feeding and parenting that feels calmer, clearer, and more aligned with what matters most to you.
